We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
Community Support Worker
Headway Oxfordshire is a registered charity (No 299377) based in
Kennington, Oxford and affiliated to the national organisation
Headway UK. Our aim is to improve the lives of those affected by
acquired brain injury in the Oxfordshire area by providing a range
of effective support services. We presently have a vacancy for a
Community Support Worker. This post is currently funded by the Big
Lottery.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person who can
demonstrate a track record of effective support work with
vulnerable people. Could this person be you? You will have
excellent communication skills and the ability to organise and work
to the needs of individuals. You will be working countywide both
within Headway Centres and the community at large. As such you will
need to be flexible, organised and able to travel throughout
Oxfordshire. In this key role, you will act as a representative of
Headway Oxfordshire whilst working within hospital environments and
with the general public.
This role is for an initial one-year period renewable subject to
funding and performance. A flexible working package will be
considered.

Personal Assistants

We are looking for Personal Assistants to join out team.
Providing 1-1 support to adults with an acquired brain injury, you
will work at the client's home and in the community following the
guidelines set out in the individual's support plan. Tasks may
include shopping, socialising, supporting the use of leisure
facilities and attending appointments. Previous experience of
support work is necessary.

Volunteer Driver
Headway Oxford is a registered charity (No 299377) based in
Kennington, Oxford and affiliated to the national organisation
Headway UK. Our aim is to improve the lives of those affected by
acquired brain injury in the Oxfordshire area by providing a range
of effective support services. We are current looking for volunteer
drivers to drive our Ambulance/mini bus, collecting our clients
from their homes and bringing them to our centre in Kennington.
