Charity of the Year
Choosing Headway Oxfordshire as your company's Charity of the
Year is beneficial to both us and you. It's a great way for
your organisation to work with Headway Oxfordshire making a
positive impact on the lives of people with a brain injury and
those who care for them, while generating media coverage and other
benefits for your company.
A Charity of the Year scheme promotes team spirit and gives your
staff a real opportunity to work together to make a difference.
There are many different ways you can support us across the year,
from organising fundraising events, promoting payroll
giving, sponsored challenges, team volunteering and they are
all great fun.
Many companies organise fundraising events throughout the year
in support of local charities, raising much needed donations while
enjoying a fun event. Through staff fundraising you can
create a sense of shared achievement and team spirit which can also
help to promote your business with your customers, suppliers and
the community within which you work.
Fundraising in itself helps to build a 'team spirit' amongst
staff and instills them with a sense of company pride, while
improving your relationships with customers and the general public
by developing your links to the community.
Take part in one of our fundraising events throughout the year
or, alternatively, we could work with you to generate ideas of your
own. We can also provide any information or materials you need
including literature, sponsorship forms, banners, balloons,
t-shirts and collecting tins.
Many companies offer Matched Giving to help promote Staff
Fundraising. Ask your company if they would consider matching
any funds you raise.
